How to roll down the windows with the remote on 2001 Volkswagen passat?

I have a 2001 Volkswagen passat and I would love it even more if I could roll up / down the windows with the remote. I know you CAN do it, but I need to know how. I seen many videos on YouTube showing them roll up and down using just the remote saying that all they did was reprogram the key fob.. As of now, you can go up to the car and use they key when it is in the door and roll up and down the windows and sunroof. So can anyone give me step by step directions on how to do this? Thankyou.
