Garage Opener Problem, wont open from outside.?

If you have those spiral florescent lights in the garage or opener remove them. And buy just one new battery and try it. The remote control problem you are having is not usually due to circuit board failure. If the keypad will light up at night the 12v or 9v battery is probably good. Note: Will the pushbutton on the wall always work??
