Do i need to replace the battery or am i doing something wrong.. Ademco vista 10-se alarm system..?

Okay..well we just recently we reprogramed the ademco vista 10-se alarm in my house... it is not being monitored by ADT at all.. so the system is working and the siren and alarm is working but theres one problem the wireless door/windows (mostly on the doors) contacts or magnet contacts that suppose to chime when the door opens or trigger the alarm doesnt work.. theres a total of 3 in the house and none of them work do i need to reprogram them if so how? because i reseted the system... or is it the battery i think its the battery since its been like 8 years since we used the system...
