2005 nissan altima high/rough idle? help?

clean my throttle valve/body with the carb cleaner and i forgot to disconnect the battery before it...now my cars rough idling and wont mainting the normal idle rpm its going up and down from 1000 to 3000 rpm ...i called the nissan dealer and they said i need a idle reprogram or idle relearn for $125 or worst case scene. a new throttle valve for $400+......should i pay or is there something i can do to fix this....pretty much by disconnecting the sensor i lost the engine normal operating idles rpm..
