2003 Cavalier Won't Open All 4 Doors with Remote?

I can press the remote and it opens the driver's door, then I am suppose to push it again and it suppose to open the remaining 3 doors, but it won't. I can take my finger and press the unlock switch and it will open the remaining 3 doors. I can use the remote to lock all 4 doors. I tried both remotes with new batteries, but no luck. Any ideas other than paying the stealership to try using a TECH 2 to reprogram @ $100 an hour?
